In this research, an analysis was carried out of the factors that influence employee morale and its impact on their performance. It also identified deficiencies in the use of computerized management information systems in Queen Bakery stores. The research results show that high work morale has a positive influence on employee performance at Queen Bakery. Employees who have high work morale tend to be more productive, produce better quality work, innovate, attend consistently, and have good working relationships with coworkers. However, there are signs of a lack of morale at the Queen Bakery store, even though the company has provided incentives to employees. Apart from that, it was also found that the Queen Bakery store still relies on manual systems in various operational processes. This causes inefficiencies in inventory management, communication and decision making. Therefore, it is recommended to implement an integrated management system at Queen Bakery to improve operational efficiency, communication, decision making and customer information services. By taking steps to increase employee morale and implementing a more effective management information system, it is hoped that the Queen Bakery store can improve company performance and provide better service to customers. This research contributes to understanding the importance of work morale and management information systems in improving company performance in the food retail sector.
Arin Juliatin Ida Jalilah Fitria Copyright (c) 2024 2024-08-07 2024-08-07 4 2 919 928 10.58191/jomel.v4i2.241 The Influence of Profitability and Leverage on Company Value Through Dividend Policy in Food and Beverage Sector Companies Registered on the Indonesian Stock Exchange http://jurnal.stim-lpi.ac.id/index.php/Jomel/article/view/254
Research objectives: (1) analyze the effect of profitability on dividend policy (2) the effect of leverage on dividend policy (3) the effect of profitability on company value (4) the effect of leverage on company value (5) the effect of dividend policy on value (6) the effect of profitability on company value through dividend policy (7) the influence of leverage on company value through dividend policy in food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange.
This research uses a data analysis method, namely path analysis, with the research object being food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2020-2022 and using SmartPLS data processing software. The increasingly competitive industrial development over time
necessitates every company to be ready to face intensifying competition. Essentially,
risks are inherent in all aspects of human life and activities, from personal matters to
corporate affairs, from lifestyle issues to disease patterns, from waking up to sleeping
at night, and much more. Risk management experts, both domestically and
internationally, have various definitions of what risk and risk management entail.
However, generally, risk can be defined in various ways, such as an adverse event or
a deviation of outcomes from expectations. This research employs a descriptive
qualitative approach to evaluate the effectiveness of risk control in sales at PT "X"
Property Company. The findings indicate that the process of property sales begins with
negotiations between the property owner and prospective buyer regarding price and
payment terms, followed by the buyer transferring earnest money to demonstrate
transaction seriousness and drafting a purchase agreement. Subsequently, involving a
notary for the transfer of property title with agreed-upon costs, and after completing
all administrative tasks and payments, the transaction is deemed valid. On the other
hand, PT. X has successfully implemented risk control in property sales, albeit with
some shortcomings that need to be addressed, particularly concerning secret selling
practices that undermine business integrity. Proactive measures, such as implementing
secure reporting mechanisms for employees, aid in preventing such practices, while
direct monitoring by the owner enables quick detection and handling of unethical
behavior.
Aulia Yunianti Putri Aceng Kurniawan Copyright (c) 2024 2024-08-07 2024-08-07 4 2 959 970 10.58191/jomel.v4i2.258 Analysis of Employee Work Discipline at Umkm Banana Cauji (Ciparay) http://jurnal.stim-lpi.ac.id/index.php/Jomel/article/view/262
This study aims to determine the application of work discipline in Banana Cauji micro, small and medium enterprises and to find out why Banana Cauji's performance is not optimal. This research aims to find out why it is necessary to hold training in Tanjungwangi Village and to find out the implementation of employee training to improve the performance of Tanjungwangi Village employees. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The method used in this research is the interview method. The results of this research show that the training organized by Tanjungwangi Village is only limited to computer training, so that employees in the village have to rely on their independent abilities to support their work. However, the increase in employee performance in Tanjungwangi Village is not only caused by internal training in the village itself, but is also influenced by various technical guidance (bimtek) provided by the government at the sub-district, district and provincial levels. So, collaboration between internal village training and technical guidance provided by the government outside the village is important to improve employee performance in Tanjungwangi Village.
Herni Apriani Dicky Maryono Copyright (c) 2024 2024-08-07 2024-08-07 4 2 977 982 10.58191/jomel.v4i2.263 Analysis of the Influence of Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at CV Hilal Dermawan Anugrah http://jurnal.stim-lpi.ac.id/index.php/Jomel/article/view/264
The success and survival of a company is greatly influenced by the performance of its employees. Mangkunegara (2018; 93) states that motivation is a condition that moves employees to be able to achieve the goals of their motives. Motivation is a condition or energy that moves employees who are directed or aimed at achieving the company's organizational goals. A pro and positive mental attitude towards work situations is what strengthens work motivation to achieve maximum performance. Keith Davis in Mangkunegara, (2018; 129) states that work discipline is a management implementation to strengthen organizational guidelines. According to Rivai and Basri (2015; 14) in Nasution and Setiawan (2021) say that the definition of performance is the willingness of a person or group of people to carry out an activity and perfect it in accordance with responsibilities with the results as expected. This research was carried out using a descriptive qualitative approach at the CV Hilal Darmawan Nugraha Company with calculations using averages. The results of this research show that the average for the motivation variable is 34% if we compare it with the criteria then the value is in the Poor/Low category then the average for the Discipline variable is 36% if we compare it with the criteria then the value is at Poor category, employee performance related to achieving production targets is not good, the company is still faced with challenges related to product quality. Efforts are continuously made by the head of production and company owners to ensure that every product produced meets high quality standards and employee motivation has a significant impact on their performance. From the results of the research, the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) and POQ (production order quantity model) methods both have their own effectiveness in inventory control to be applied to companies because purchases based on the EOQ and POQ methods are much more economical than initial factory purchases of Rp. 19,080,000, the EOQ method is IDR 18,809,360 so it can really save inventory costs, especially if the factory uses the POQ method, the company will save even more with inventory costs being IDR 12,858,800 if the company uses this method.
Nurfalah Faldy Herdian Copyright (c) 2024 2024-08-07 2024-08-07 4 2 992 1002 10.58191/jomel.v4i2.265 PT Prima Indo Energi Employee Performance Assessment Analysis http://jurnal.stim-lpi.ac.id/index.php/Jomel/article/view/266
This research aims to analyze the implementation of employee performance appraisal at PT Prima Indo Energi with a focus on objectives, methods and results.
