This study aims to determine the effect of Career Insecurity and Future Anxiety on teacher performance at SMKN 2 Palopo. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The results showed that Career Insecurity and Future Anxiety simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher performance, as indicated by the F-test significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Partially, the Career Insecurity variable (X1) obtained a t-value of 1.631, while Future Anxiety (X2) obtained a t-value of 1.450. Career Insecurity was found to have a significant effect on teacher performance, whereas Future Anxiety did not have a significant effect on teacher performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) also indicated a relatively low contribution of the two variables to the variation in teacher performance. Therefore, it can be concluded that other factors beyond Career Insecurity and Future Anxiety may have a greater influence on teacher performance at the school.References
